Often we see summer demand continue as far as October, so it’s not unusual to have another strong month before the seasonal cool down. What’s unusual this year is that attached inventory sales are still driving the market despite the increased competition we’re seeing there.

The sales-to-active-listings ratio netted out a market absorption rate of 45.35%, indicating that it was a Seller's Market for townhouses in in September 2017 (click on the link learn more about local housing market ratios on the BC Real Estate Association blog).
