Inventory levels aren’t where we’d like them to be, especially with demand picking up as we move deeper into the spring season. However, that being said, it’s great to see more buyers turning to our burgeoning apartment and townhome markets and taking some of the pressure off of detached homes.

Here's a high-level snapshot of listing and sales activity for detached homes in March 2017.

The sales-to-active-listings ratio netted out a market absorption rate of 56.68%, indicating that it was a Seller's Market for detached homes in in March 2017 (click on the link learn more about local housing market ratios on the BC Real Estate Association blog).
