Even though activity has eased off for the summer we’re continuing to see the same trends we’ve seen all year. Namely, strong demand for attached-style homes and slight but steady increases in pricing.

Highlights of FVREB MLS® Data on Detached Home Listings and Sales
Here's a high-level snapshot of listing and sales activity for detached homes in July 2017.

- $770,700 Benchmark Price
- $745,000 Median Price
- $769,990 Average Price
The sales-to-active-listings ratio netted out a market absorption rate of 40.83%, indicating that it was a Seller's Market for detached homes in in July 2017 (click on the link learn more about local housing market ratios on the BC Real Estate Association blog).

- The average price of a detached home in in July 2017 was $769,990 – an increase of 13.84% over July 2016 and an increase of 0.15% over June 2017
