Sales activity was healthy in October, especially in the townhome and apartment categories. With prices beginning to level-off, it appears that buyers are becoming more motivated to explore the Valley’s available inventory.

Highlights of FVREB MLS® Data on Condominium Listings and Sales
Here's a high-level snapshot of listing and sales activity for condominiums in October 2016.

- 140 Active listings
- $203,900 Benchmark Price
- $194,700 Median Price
- $218,076 Average Price
The sales-to-active-listings ratio netted out a market absorption rate of 60.71%, indicating that it was a Seller's Market for condominiums in in October 2016 (click on the link learn more about local housing market ratios on the BC Real Estate Association blog).

- The average price of a condominium in in October 2016 was $218,076 – an increase of 30.53% over October 2015 and an increase of 9.61% over September 2016
