The divide between our attached and detached markets continues to widen. Apartment activity was notably strong in October with a sales-to-actives ratio of 105 percent, meaning that apartments are selling as fast as we can list them.

The sales-to-active-listings ratio netted out a market absorption rate of 32.39%, indicating that it was a Seller's Market for detached homes in in October 2017 (click on the link learn more about local housing market ratios on the BC Real Estate Association blog).
