Demand is tremendous, still, for detached homes in our region, but it’s encouraging to see that the upward pace of that demand is leveling off.

Here's a high-level snapshot of listing and sales activity for detached homes in May 2016.

- $648,305 Average Price
The sales-to-active-listings ratio netted out a market absorption rate of 74.38%, indicating that it was a Seller's Market for detached homes in in May 2016 (click on the link learn more about local housing market ratios on the BC Real Estate Association blog).
