This market is uncharted territory for Fraser Valley real estate. It’s typical for spring to see a jump in activity; however, March came and went at a break-neck, record-setting pace. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Here's a high-level snapshot of listing and sales activity for detached homes in March 2016.

The sales-to-active-listings ratio netted out a market absorption rate of 107.75%, indicating that it was a Seller's Market for detached homes in in March 2016 (click on the link learn more about local housing market ratios on the BC Real Estate Association blog).
